Oh Lord, As If It Wasn’t Bad Enough They’ve Turned It Into A Goddamn Movie…

As if I needed any further proof to back up my increasingly firm belief that the dreaded FB is pretty much the route of all evil.
 
 How many people do you know have had a moment where they’ve taken it a just little too seriously? How many of you believe blocking someone on Facebook will magically erase them from your real life as well as your status feed? Ahem, guilty of that last one actually. They didn’t evaporate, unfortunately. How many of you have momentarily taken the number of Facebook friends you have (high or low) as being representative of your real life popularity? How many of you have had that awkward moment when you’ve either had to accept or deny a friend request from a colleague you barely know but are gutless to deny in case you bump into them at work? How many of you have had a photo-tagging headache?
 
And now they’ve gone and made a goddamn movie about it.
 
Two trailers:
 
One depicting the movie as trashy and mass-market as the actual social application.
 
 
The second I feel a) makes it look not so terrible a movie and b) is a more accurate representation of Facebook.
